Who We Are

Aqualand Swim School and Wanaka Community Swim School is committed to providing a positive comfortable learning environment in which to instruct the life skills of swimming and water safety. Through our professional delivery of aquatic education to the community, our swim schools will provide swimmers with the means to safely access and utilise the many surrounding waterways of the Wakatipu and Wanaka areas.

All surpluses generated from our swim schools go directly back into the community via the development of initiatives such as the New World Schools Aquatic Education Programme to improve children’s water safety and to the ongoing operation of Alpine Aqualand and Wanaka Community Pool.

our Instructors

All our instructors hold an Assistant Swim Teacher Award from Swimming New Zealand and also attend regular in-house training. In addition, all learn-to-swim staff have attained the National Pool Lifeguard Award to ensure the safety of all our swimmers at all times.
