WANAKA FACILITIES TEAM LEADER

Lakes Leisure manage and deliver sporting, cultural and community programmes & events at Queenstown and Wanaka Lakes District community facilities.

An exciting opportunity is now open in Wanaka. Lakes Leisure is currently recruiting for a Facilities Team Leader who will be responsible for the Wanaka Community Swimming Pool, Lake Wanaka Centre operations and bookings for the various Wanaka parks, sports fields and reserves.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager and the Aquatics Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of the Wanaka pool environment to a high, safe and consistent standard. Promoting and coordinating the use of the Lake Wanaka Centre and facilitating the use of community parks and reserves for events.

The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership, motivation and drive. You will have outstanding customer service skills and the ability to form excellent working relationships. A sound experience in staff, risk and operations management is key and previous experience in the Aquatics industry would be ideal.

PART TIME SWIM INSTRUCTORS – WANAKA

The Wanaka Community Pool is now recruiting Swim Instructors for the Wanaka Community Swim School. We are seeking motivated individuals, who are friendly, responsible, and safety & customer service driven.

Swim Instructors will deliver quality learn to swim programmes and private lessons to clients of all ages including young children and adults. A current ASTA qualification is desirable however full training will be provided.
