Rugby World Cup 2011
In 2011 New Zealand is hosting the Rugby World Cup, the third biggest sporting event in the world. Teams from 20 countries will participate in the tournament and 48 games will be held around the country.
Official RWC 2011 Training Venue
Queenstown and Lakes Leisure are very proud to be an official RWC 2011 training venue for four rugby teams – they will be in Queenstown for training on the following dates:
Ireland: 1-7 September – Queenstown Events Centre
Georgia: 5-10 September – Queenstown Recreation Ground
Romania: 11-14 September – Queenstown Recreation Ground
England: 11-15 September – Queenstown Events Centre
