KIRSTY OWEN – MASSAGE THERAPIST
Kirsty is a massage therapist and graduated from the university of bath, uk in 2010 with a foundation degree in sports therapy. Since then she has been in newzealand and has been based from the event centre. Kirsty has worked with international golfers in the pga tournaments, rugby teams locally and in the world cup. Kirsty uses a combination of massage, trigger point therapy and soft tissue release, to remove adhesions and areas of tightness which cause aches and pains in muscles and joints. Having a healthier muscle will allow it to fully contract and fully relax to the best of its ability maximizing power and flexibility. Whether it’s training, repetitive movement or sitting at a computer for a long period of time, kirsty manipulates muscles to overcome imbalances causing postural dysfunctions, aches and pains making the most out of your muscles.
LOUISE HOLLAND – PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Louise
is from Cork, Ireland and graduated from University of Keele, UK with
BSc Honours in Physiotherapy in 2007. She worked in University Hospital
of Leicester as a rotational physiotherapist, gaining experiences in
musculoskeletal outpatients, Adult Respiratory, Acute medicine,

in sports massage and being a qualified physiotherapist and sports
masseurs, has worked alongside a range of sporting teams including rugby
union and rugby league teams in Leicester.
She set off travelling in May 2011 around South America and now New Zealand and ready to settle down and further her interest in musculoskeletal and sport injuries rehabilitation. She is a very keen sports woman, playing the Irish Gaelic games since she could walk and represented her county in underage winning two All Ireland medals. Her new passion is attending and playing at the touch rugby at the event centre and snowboarding, the reasons for falling in love with Queenstown on first arrival.
Josh came to New Zealand from Singapore in 2002. From his sporting background and experiences with injuries, physiotherapy seemed a natural progression as a career. He subsequently graduated as a physiotherapist from the University of Otago in 2008 and has been working in the musculoskeletal private practice sector since.
He has worked in various sporting capacities from rugby teams to futsal teams, crossfit athletes and ice skaters. Most recently, he travelled with the NZ U-18 girls volleyball team for the Asian Youth Girls Championships in Malaysia. He also has experience in acute triage management, having worked at the Otago Sports Injury Clinic.
Josh is a keen learner, having completed his postgraduate diploma in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, and is undertaking his Masters in Manipulative therapy. He has also completed courses in pilates, dry needling, orthobionomy, and kinesiotaping. Josh loves a good challenge and tries to think "outside the box" when treating clients.
Josh is a keen sportsman, who enjoys his volleyball and soccer, but is willing to give anything a go!! Josh is looking forward to this new opportunity in Queenstown and is excited to see how he can contribute to this community.
