A perfect way to kick start the holidays, kids can come straight after school and jump right into the warm waters of Alpine Aqualand for an epic afternoon filled with fun and games, and a truckload of cool prizes.
Lined up to spin the latest chart-topping tunes poolside is More FM’s DJ Henry Youngman, while a whole afternoon of free hydro-slides, crazy races and insane competitions get underway in the water. Paddles and the Dunking Machine will be there too! Normal pool entry applies.

unforgettable evening. This year Vanessa Kelly's seductive jazz-blues
style opens the party. Then Coast's acoustic brilliance will dazzle
upstairs in the Jazz Lounge with LA Mitchell adding her own unique and
distinctive sounds. Meanwhile downstairs, the evening hots up with the
unique live experience of Eru Dangerspiel, dance extraordinaires Sola
Rosa and DJ Spikey Tee filling in the breaks.

2010 New Zealand Mountain Film Festival 2-6 July, Lake Wanaka Centre
The New Zealand Mountain Film Festival is coming to Wanaka this month. Always a highlight, it’s set to be one of the region’s premier winter events.
The eighth annual festival will be held from 2-6 July and sees Wanaka come alive with a combination of screenings, exhibitions, award ceremonies and live music. Workshops, ice sculpting, an adventure gear trade show, international and national guest speakers, and of course lots of film viewing are all on the programme.

Pack a picnic lunch and don’t forget to bring all your favourite teddy bears to be enthralled and entranced as storytellers, face painters and special guests work their magic. The musical experience that pays tribute to the world’s much loved rock superstars, The Eagles, is coming to town.
Showtime Australia presents Hotel California - The Eagles Experience, at Queenstown Memorial Hall where five multi-talented musicians play out a rendition of The Eagles' most timeless hits. The legendary Platinum-selling group of the 70s and 80s disbanded in 1982 to the shock of fans around the world, but to fill the musical void left behind a tribute act show was created to salute the talent and musicianship of the original members. Join David Grey as Don Henley, David Wright as Glenn Frey, Tony Cowell as Joe Walsh, Russell Davey as Timothy B Schmit, and Richard Baker as Don Felder for a night to remember.
