The Lakes Leisure children’s programmes operate out of the Queenstown Events Centre and include the School Holiday Programme. Plans are currently underway to expand into after school clubs in Arrowtown and Queenstown.

Lakes Leisure is a member of the OSCAR network and is approved by CYFS. This allows families on a low income to apply for financial assistance through WINZ subsidies.

School Holiday Programme

EASTER SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAMME – STARTS 6 APRIL – ENROLMENTS OPEN 22 MARCH

The Lakes Leisure School Holiday Programme is split into two age groups:

Juniors 5 – 7 Years
Seniors 8 – 12 years

The staff/child ratio will be no less than 1:10 and 1:8 on away days. Our programme supervisors are over the age of 20 and leaders are aged 16 or older.

Children are required to bring a packed lunch or pies and pizzas can be purchased from holiday programme staff.

Booking Information:

Please note the following changes to our booking procedures from previous holiday programmes:

•    Bookings are essential and payment must now be made in advance through Lakes Leisure reception or phone bookings can be taken with a credit card by calling 450 9005.
•    Bookings will only be confirmed upon receipt of payment.
•    NO REFUNDS will be given for absences or amendments. Extreme circumstances will be considered for credit.
•    If applying for an Oscar subsidy please make your booking directly with Alana Talbot on 450 9103.
•    Limited numbers accepted for all sessions.
•    A waiting list system will operate once days are booked out.

OSCAR APPROVED

We are an Oscar accredited programme. Families are able to apply for the Oscar subsidy through WINZ. We encourage families to apply for this subsidy as it can reduce the cost dramatically. If applying for an Oscar subsidy please make your booking directly with Alana Talbot on 450 9103.

PRICE

• Juniors $22.00, Seniors $25.00, Late sessions (to 5.10pm) $10.00.
• Strictly all payments in advance. Additional costs required where indicated.

PROGRAMME HOURS

•    8.30am – 3.30pm
•    Children can be dropped off between 8.30am and 9.30am. Please do not come later than this as it is very disruptive for the group.
•    Late Session: 3.30pm – 5.10pm

OTHER INFO

•    Located at Queenstown Events Centre unless otherwise indicated.
•    Packed lunches are recommended however $3.00 pies, $2.50 pizzas and      $1.20 ice blocks are available. Please order in the morning with the Supervisors.
•    The staff/child ratio will be no less than 1:10 and 1:8 on away days.
•    Please name all clothing, lost property will be held for two weeks after the programme finishes before being taken to Happiness House.
•    Please do not bring valuables to the programme including iPods, PSPs, jewellery or money.

All sorts sports

Spark your child’s love of sport!

Aimed at kids aged 4 – 7 years old, this programme will introduce your child to basic sports skills using the latest soft touch sports equipment.

With programmes in both Arrowtown and Queenstown registrations are now being taken.

Get rocked Kids Climbing Classes

Mini tennis 4 kids

ENROL NOW

Patricia McInerney, our experienced tennis coach is back taking kids through the basic elements of tennis outdoors at the Queenstown Events Centre tennis courts. Plus all kids will receive a FREE drink bottle on registration and a FREE t-shirt on completion of course!

Birthday Parties

Want to hold your child’s birthday at Alpine Aqualand? We have a number of options available. Book one or all of the services below and the birthday child swims and slides for FREE!

Pool Party Details
Child Swim and Slide	Birthday Party special rate	$4 per child
Water toy hire	Exclusive use of mystery swim toys from the Birthday Treasure Trove.	$20 per session
Room hire	After your swim, book the ground floor function room to have your birthday food and drink in.	$22.50 + Gst per hour
Learners Pool Hire	Learners pool available Saturdays from 2pm and all day Sunday.Price includes the mandatory attendance of one pool crew member (Please note that active supervision by caregivers conditions apply).	$55 per hour
