LAKE HAYES PAVILION

Spectacular lake and mountain views make the Lake Hayes Pavilion one of the most unique places in the Southern Lakes to hold your special event or function. Nestled above the shores of Lake Hayes, the Pavilion offers elevated and uninterrupted views of the worldfamous Coronet Peak ski area.
Location: The Lake Hayes Pavilion is located on State Highway 6 into Queenstown. Approximately 10 minute drive to the Queenstown International Airport and on the main bus route.

QUEENSTOWN MEMORIAL HALL

Right in the heart of the Central Business District, the Queenstown Memorial Hall offers versatility and flexibility as one of central Queenstown’s larger venues. Offering a main auditorium space, a mezzanine balcony, three function rooms, a commercial kitchen an outdoor patio and adjacent recreation ground this venue can easily be arranged to suit your needs.
Location: Right in the heart of the Central Business District. There is plenty of parking close by at the Man Street car park which is covered, safe and security-monitored 24 hours a day.
NOTE: Memorial Hall is closed July 15 – Dec 31, 2012 for renovations.

The Queenstown Events Centre is an impressive multi-purpose indoor sports and events complex. The venue is extremely flexible, offering an extensive range of function and meeting room facilities, that can be adapted to meet the needs of events of any size. GARDENS & GREEN SPACES
Lakes Leisure manages all the gardens and green spaces owned by the Queenstown Lakes District Council in the Southern Lakes areas. Should you wish to use one of these gardens or green spaces for an event or function, please complete an enquiry form or call Kylee Erickson on 03 450 9109.
Queenstown – Earnslaw Park, St Omer Park, Queenstown Village Green, Queenstown Gardens, Queenstown Recreation Ground, Jacks Point Field and Lake Hayes Show Grounds.
Arrowtown – Butlers Green, Buckingham Green, Library Green, Jack Reid Park and Millbrook Corner.
Wanaka – Wanaka Station Park, Pembroke Park, Dinosaur Playground, Wanaka Recreation Reserve, Allenby Park and Peter Fraser Park in Lake Hawea.
Hire Equipment
Lakes Leisure also has a variety of portable hire equipment available for your next event. Items include: trestle tables, plastic chairs, tiered seating, rapid rooms (eg ticketing booth and/or commentary box), chiller unit, portaloos, crowd barriers, power boxes and cables. QLDC Community Facility Funding Policy
Our venues, facilities and equipment prices are determined by the Queenstown Lakes District Council – the latest version of the QLDC Community Facility Funding Policy can be seen here. The QLDC have three fee levels – commercial, standard and charitable, the definitions of which are as follows. Please ask our Bookings Coordinator should you have any questions about fees.
Charitable – a local incorporated society, school or not-for-profit sports, art or cultural group hiring the facility for a charitable purpose. Proof of charitable status may be required.
Standard – a private hire for private use where tickets are not sold and no other trading is undertaken. E.g Wedding, Casual volley ball game
Commercial - any hire that is deemed neither Standard nor Charitable.
